The official The Seven Deadly Sins anime website announced that a four-part anime special will premiere this August.
The special titled "The Seven Deadly Sins: Signs of holy war" and the story is written by series creator Nakaba Suzuki and it will premiere after the end of the show's rerun, which will start on April 6th.
The cast of the first anime will reprise their roles in this four-part special. The special is one again animated by A-1 Pictures and is directed by Tomokazu Tokoro (Hellsing Ultimate). The scripts are written by Yuniko Ayana (Girls Beyond the Wasteland) and Yuichiro Kido (Gatchaman Crowds insight).
