Bandai Tamashii Nations posted the official images of the S.H. MonsterArts Mechagodzilla (1993) & Garuda & Fire Rodan Makuhari Decisive Battle Ver. from the Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II film.
This set is released to commemorate Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II's 30th anniversary with the re-release of multiple figures with different coloring and additional accesories based on the film's decisive battle that took place in the Makuhari Bay area.
Originally released in 2017, the S.H. MonsterArts Super Mechagodzilla stands 160mm tall and features different coloring based on the blue lights used in the film as well as this Mechagodzilla being coated with artificial diamonds, thus the whole body is colored in bluish silver. In addition, you can swap the head with a new Mechagodzilla damaged head.
The included Garuda also match said Mechagodzilla coloring and the two can combine to form Super Mechagodzilla! Item comes with its own pedestal. But that's not all, by replacing the abdomen parts with alternate ones, you can equip the G Crusher part, which has a total length of 450mm. You can replicate the battle at the end of the film thanks to said parts. Super Mechagodzilla's flight pose can also be reproduced thanks to the included extra hands.
Lastly, S.H. MonsterArts Fire Rodan was first released in 2012, and just like the rest of the set, has updated coloring to match said battle, while the horns and spines on the back are made using clear parts to create a glowing effect. Item also comes with its own pedestal. This Premium Bandai web exclusive item cost 24,200 yen and is set for a December release.
