Bandai Tamashii Nations has unveiled the S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla and S.H. MonsterArts Kong as seen in the upcoming Godzilla vs. Kong film.
The S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla represents the appearance of the King of Monsters as seen in Godzilla vs. Kong. The item stands 160mm tall and comes with extra hands. The figure is based on the data from the actual movie and the 3D model was made and colored by Yuji Sakai, the leading Godzilla modeler in Japan.
Mitsuhiko Hosokawa on the other hand, who previously worked on past S.H. MonsterArts figures and the Ultra Monsters for the S.H. Figuarts Ultraman line devised and produced the moving mechanism for this figure, allowing the figure to move around without breaking its proportion.

The S.H. MonsterArts Kong on the other hand, represents the now fully grown King Kong years after the events of Kong: Skull Island. This item stands 145mm tall and comes with his ax, replacement hands, and an extra head. Just like Godzilla, the figure is based on data from the actual movie, but the 3D model for the figure was made by Shinzen Takeuchi, an animal modeler. He started making the model from the skeleton, then adding the muscles and hair, making this figure even more realistic.
Mitsuhiko Hosokawa also worked on this figure and produced the moving mechanism for this figure, allowing the figure to move around without breaking its proportion. Each figure cost 6,600 yen and are both set for a May release.
