Bandai Namco Entertainment posted the opening video for the SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble game. The opening is of course, based on the original Kamen Rider opening.
As previously reported, Sosuke Ikematsu (The Last Samurai, Death Note: Light Up the NEW World) and Tasuku Emoto (Asa ga Kita) will both reprise their roles as Takeshi Hongo/Kamen Rider 1 and Hayato Ichimonji/Kamen Rider 2 respectively.
You are Kamen Rider in this beat 'em/hack and slash game and fight the forces of SHOCKER in a SD visual style. The game will also feature various kinds of power up systems as your progress in the game, and even fight with and without the mask. More on the game, there are a total of six low-class SHOCKER members in the usual stages, and players will face various enemies and stage gimmicks that will keep them on the edge of their seats. This culminates with the advanced SHOCKER members who will serve as the bosses of each stage. Read the enemies' attacks and strike at the moment of opportunity.
Lastly, you might get defeated in the middle of the game, but the items you collect will strengthen them and the Cyclone, your personal bike. If players are able to strengthen the Cyclone, you can skip the stages you have cleared and get reinforced items to advance in battle. SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble is coming to the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, and is set for an April 27th release date in South East Asia, which is a month later after its Japanese release, which is on March 23rd.
