Netflix posted an official clip for the upcoming Scott Pilgrim Takes Off anime, which was unveiled at a recent DROP 01 livestream.
In the clip, Scott decides to a rent a DVD from Netflix in order to meet Ramona again. In the original graphic novel, he ordered something from Amazon, which is currently, Netflix's competitor in the streaming game with their Prime Video service. In addition, Netflix Japan also gave us our first look at the anime's Japanese dub.

Based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's six-volume graphic novel series of the same name, it follows Scott Pilgrim, a slacker and part-time musician who falls in love with a girl named Ramona Flowers, and in order for them to date in peace, he must defeat her seven evil exes. Aside from adapting the graphic novel, the series will also expand it.
The main cast of the graphic novel's 2010 live-action film adaptation, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World will all reprise their respective roles. Most notably: Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona Flowers, Kieran Culkin as Wallace Wells, Aubrey Plaza as Julie Powers, Chris Evans as Lucas Lee, Brie Larson as Envy Adams, Jason Schwartzman as Gideon Graves, and Ellen Wong as Knives Chau.
The series will be animated by Science SARU (Devilman Crybaby) and directed by Abel Góngora (Star Wars: Visions). O'Malley will also write the series alongside BenDavid Grabinski (Are You Afraid of the Dark?). Both will also serve as executive producers alongside Scott Pilgrim vs. The World director Edgar Wright. Lastly, it will feature music composed by the band Anamanaguchi (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game) and Joseph Trapanese (The Raid).
Developed by Universal Content Productions, Scott Pilgrim is set to premiere this November 17th worldwide, exclusively on Netflix.
