Saga of Tanya the Evil the Movie's Official Trailer, Additional Cast Revealed

The official Saga of Tanya the Evil anime website posted the official trailer for the upcoming film. 

In addition, the website also announced more cast members for said film. Joining the film's cast are: Takashi Inagaki (Kingdom Hearts II) as Joseph Dzhugashvili, Chō (Samurai Sentai Shinkenger) as Loria, Toshiyuki Morikawa (Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, Naruto Shippuden) as William Douglas Drake, Jun Fukushima (KonoSuba, Yowamushi Pedal) as Edgar, and Mutsumi Tamura (Digimon Adventure tri., Naruto Shippuden) as BB.

The upcoming film will feature an original story, which follows the events of the TV anime. After defeating the remnants of the Republc's army, Tanya and her battalion received word of a massive mobilization near the border with the Russy Federation, so the Empire's army must prepare. At the same time, a multinational army under the Allied Kingdom moves into the Russy Federation. Among the members of the Allied Kingdom army is Mary Sioux, a girl who has sworn to exact justice against the Empire for the death of her father.

The director of the original anime, Yutaka Uemura will return to direct the movie. Studio NuT will also return to animate the film and voice actresses Aoi Yuki (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Kamen Rider Ghost) and Saori Hayami (Sword Art Online, anohana) will return to reprise their roles as Tanya Degurechaff and Viktoriya Ivanovna "Visha" Serebryakov respectively. 

Saga of Tanya the Evil the Movie is set for a February 8, 2019 release. In addition, fans who pre-orders the movie tickets starting on October 19th will get a letter with "marching orders" from Tanya to go to the movie theater.
