The official Pokémon YouTube channel posted the second official trailer for the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games. The trailer reveals the two new professors, and more new Pokémon!
For the first time in the franchise, each version has its own unique Pokémon professor. Players who chose Pokémon Scarlet will meet Professor Sada, while players who chose Pokémon Violet will meet Professor Turo. Each is carrying out research into certain lore passed down in the region.
Players will also meet Nemona, a powerful Pokémon Trainer with a sunny and energetic disposition, who absolutely loves Pokémon battles. She's an experienced Trainer and serves as a reliable guide for you on your adventures. She has undisputed skill in battle—though it does also seem that she's not the best at throwing Poké Balls.

In this new open world adventure, trainers can explore various towns with no borders blend seamless into the wilderness. That said, you are free to explore the world at your own leisure and not in an order dictated by the story. Pokémon can be seen everywhere in this wide-open world—in the skies, in the sea, and on the streets, thus allowing you to experience the true joy of the Pokémon series, battling against wild Pokémon in order to catch them, now in an open world game. In addition, the games will now allow multiplayer gameplay with up to four players.
Finally, the Legendary Pokémon for both games are also revealed, and they are Koraidon and Miraidon. You will meet Koraidon in Scarlet, Miraidon on the other hand, will appear in Violet. These two Pokémon are said to have powers that far surpass those of other Pokémon, but details about them are still shrouded in mystery.
