The second teaser trailer for the upcoming Oshi no Ko anime was revealed. The new trailer features the show's ending theme, "Mephisto" by Queen Bee.
A new poster for the series was also unveiled, and it features the anime's main cast, most notably, Ai's kids, Aqua and Ruby. In addition, new cast members for the series was also revealed, and they are: Manaka Iwami (Fruits Basket 2019) as Akane Kurokawa and Rumi Okubo (Fate/Apocrypha) as Memcho.
The series stars Rie Takahashi (Re:Zero, Fate/Grand Order) as Ai, Takeo Otsuka (Beastars) and Yurie Igoma as Ai's kids, Aqua and Ruby respectively with Yumi Uchiyama (Mushoku Tensei) playing the young Aqua. Also part of the cast are: Kent Ito (Wotakoi: Love Is Hard for Otaku) as Goro, and Tomoyo Takayanagi (Uma Musume Pretty Derby) as Sarina. Also joining the cast is Megumi Han (Hunter x Hunter) as Kana Arima.
Based on the manga with the same name by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, the series starts with Goro, a gynecologist and idol fan who was surprised that his favorite idol, Ai announces an impromptu hiatus. Little does Goro realize that he's about to forge a bond with her that defies all common sense.

Oshi no Ko is set to premiere this April 12 at 11pm JST on Tokyo MX.
