Bandai Namco posted a new trailer for the One-Punch Man anime's upcoming second season. The trailer features the anime's new opening theme "Uncrowned Greatest Hero" by JAM Project.
It was reported that Chikara Sakurai (Naruto Shippuden) will replace Shingo Natsume as the show's director. In addition, J.C. Staff (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Shakugan no Shana) will now animate the series instead of Madhouse (Death Note, Hunter x Hunter). The said studio worked on the show's first season.
In addition, Yoshikazu Iwanami (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) will replace Shoji Hata as the show's sound director. As for the returning staff, Chikashi Kubota (FLCL 2) will do the character designs, Tomohiro Suzuki (ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.) is still in-charge with the series composition, and Makoto Miyazaki (Triage X) returns to compose the show's music. Lastly, the main cast of the first season will reprise their roles in the second season.
One-Punch Man Season 2 is set for an April 2nd release in Japan.
