It was announced at the Ready Player One film's celebration event in Tokyo that manga artist Yuusuke Murata (One-Punch Man, Eyeshield 21) will work on manga based on the Back to the Future film trilogy.

Titled "BTTF", the new manga will be supervised by the film trilogy's screenwriter Bob Gale, and it will feature new content not seen in the films. The series will begin its serialization on the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! web site in a later date with plans of the manga's first compiled volume getting a release in April 20.
Seen above is art from the manga featuring the characters from the trilogy and beside it is the first chapter's color opening. Lastly, Murata noted that drawing the likeness of actor Michael J. Fox, who played Marty McFly in the film trilogy is an "extremely high hurdle" to overcome, but vows to do his best.
