New Super Sentai Heroine Illustration Super Sentai Blu-ray Sets Announced

Toei Video will release two new compilation Blu-ray sets titled "New Super Sentai Heroine Illutration", which details the exploits of the heroines from Hurricaneger to Gokaiger!

The first set, New Super Sentai Heroine Illustration 2002-2006, will feature select episodes of Hurricaneger, Abaranger, Dekaranger, Magiranger, and Boukenger, which focuses on its heroines. Here are the episodes that are included in this set:

The episodes included in these sets are in 480p, and each set features a roundtable discussion featuring these Super Sentai heroines. The 2002-2006 set will have a roundtable discussion starring Nao Nagasawa (Nanami Nono/Hurricane Blue), Michi Nishijima (Emiri Imanaka), Mika Kikuchi (Koume "Umeko" Kodou/DekaPink), Ayumi Beppu (Houka Ozu/MagiPink), and Mami Yamazaki (Shizuka of the Wind). 

The 2007-2011 set on the other hand, will feature a roundtable discussion starring Yuka Hirata (Mele), Yumi Sugimoto (Miu Suto/Go-On Silver), Shizuka Morita (Kotoha Hanaori/ShinkenYellow), Mikiho Niwa (Moune/GoseiYellow), and Yui Koike (Ahim de Famille/GokaiPink). As to why some key heroes are not in the roundtable discussion, some of the actresses retired from show business, most notably Aiko Ito who played Ranru Itsuki/AbareYellow and Mina Fukui who played Ran Uzaki/GekiYellow. 

Each set cost 10,800 yen and are all set for an October 3rd release.
