The official My Hero Academia: The "Ultra" Stage announced the My Hero Academia: The "Ultra" Stage - A True Hero PLUS ULTRA Ver., the completed version of the same canceled stage play with additional cast members.
To those unaware, the previously announced My Hero Academia: The "Ultra" Stage - A True Hero was supposed to run from from March 6-22 at the Shingawa Prince Hotel Stellar Ball, and in Osaka from March 27-April 5 at the Umeda Arts Theater Drama City, but due to COVID-19, most of the performances were canceled. The said stage play will adapt the manga's Hero Killer Stain Arc, which was adapted in the second half of anime's 2nd season.
In addition, the planned The "Ultra" Live, which will introduce the stage play versions of the villains Dabi, Himiko Toga, and Twice was postponed, but instead, these characters will appear in the PLUS ULTRA ver. of The "Ultra" Stage and will have more power in this version. Lastly, the cast and staff of My Hero Academia: The "Ultra" Stage - A True Hero will return in the PLUS ULTRA Ver. These returning staff members are: Tsuneyasu Motoyoshi (director), Hideyuki Nishimori (scriptwriter), Shunsuke Wada (music composer), and Umebō (choreography).
