The latest trailer for the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway anime trilogy was unveiled at the "It's New Year's Eve! Gundam Channel New Year's Eve Special" event.
The upcoming film is part of the UC NexT 0100 Project, which deals with the future of the UC timeline. Based on Yoshiyuki Tomino's novel series of the same name, the series takes place in the year UC 105 and follows Hathaway Noa, the son of legendary Earth Federation ship captain Bright Noa. The novel also deals the aftermath of the events of the Char's Counterattack film.
In addition, the project's staff is also revealed. The project is directed by Shunkou Murase (Ergo Proxy), with scripts written by Yasuyuki Mutou (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096). In addition, Pablo Uchida, Naoyuki Onda, and Shigeki Kuhara are adapting Haruhiko Mikimoto's original character designs for animation. Lastly, Hiroyuki Sawano (Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative, Mobile Suit Gundam UC) is composing the film's music. Lastly, the project's cast and theme song will be unveiled at the "Gundam Fan Gathering: Hathaway Heris to Gundam" event on March 24 at the Zepp Diver City in Tokyo.
