The official live-action Hurricane Polymar film website has unveiled Mikie Hara (Kamen Rider Fourze, Cutie Honey: The Live) in costume as Polymar Artemis in said film.
In the upcoming film, Hara will play Rei Heida, a researcher working on the Polymar Suit. She's a key character in the story, and it is unknown if she's Takeshi Yoroi/Hurricane Polymar's ally or enemy.
Based on the anime of the same name, the series follows Takeshi Yoroi who transforms into the superhero Hurricane Polymar, a hero who can transform into five vehicles in order to fight crime. The film star Junpei Mizobata (live-action Detective Conan) as the titular hero alongside Yuki Yamada (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger), and Yurina Yanagi (Ju-on: The Final Curse).
The upcoming film is directed by Koichi Sakamoto (Kamen Rider Fourze, Ultraman Ginga S) and written by Shinsuke Onishi (Ultraman Cosmos) is set for a May 13th release at Tokyo's Shinjuku Wald 9 and other theatres. The film is part of Tatsunoko Productions' 55th anniversary.
