BOOM! Studios announced at this year's San Diego Comic Con that the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book series will get a sequel!
Simply titled "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II", the sequel will once again feature the teenagers with attitude team-up with the heroes in a half shell to save the world from a rising danger that threatens to bring both teams to the brink! BOOM! Studios senior editor Dafna Pleban teased that both teams will face familiar faces and unexpected villains in "an adventure full of the new shocking twists and turns!"
The series will be once again written by Ryan Parrott (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), and it will feature art by Dan Mora (Batman/Superman: World’s Finest). Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II is set for a December release, with the first issue featuring a wraparound main cover art illustrated by Dan Mora.
