Actor/director Amy Jo Johnson revealed at a panel at this year's Emerald City Comic Con that she will write a Power Rangers comic book with her boyfriend.
The comic will be published by BOOM! Studios, the current publishers of the ongoing Power Rangers comic book series. Johnson state that it will be a "family reunion" type of story in which the original Mighty Morphin Powerr Rangers are now in their mid-40s. Other details such as the artist and the release date are yet to be announced.
Johnson is best known to most fans as Kimberly Hart/Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. This isn't her first time she was involved with BOOM! Studios for a Power Rangers comic book as she previously wrote the introduction for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Pink, which is about Kimberly's first solo adventure.
