Marvel announced a the Marvel Future Avengers TV anime series, which will air on broadcast satellite channel Dlife this summer.
Animated by Madhouse, the series follows Makoto, a young boy who gains superpowers due to an evil gene manipulation experiment. Makoto and other kids join the Avengers apprentices named Future Avengers. The kids will train, fight villains, and grow under the eyes of Avengers members Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Wasp.
In addition, a manga version of the TV anime was also announced and is illustrated by Teruaki Mizuno (Kyoryu Taisen Dinobout, Metallica Metalluca) and will debut at Bessatsu Coro Coro comics Special magazine's April issue.
