The project based on Yuki Sato's manga and Mikoto Yamaguchi's original concept of the same name, the project stars Ryo Yoshizawa (Kamen Rider Fourze, Gintama) as Yuichi Katagiri, a young man with a perfect student life who has four friends with difficult lives.
This perfect life comes to an end when 2 million yen in school trip fees goes missing. Riddles unfold as Yuichi gets caught up in a mysterious game for money and must decide whether friendship or money matters more.
Tomodachi Game will be adapted into a TV drama and two live-action film adaptations this year.
