NHK announced that the live-action Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan series will air its overall 9th episode this May.
This episode will adapt the "Poaching Seashore" story from the manga, in which Rohan Kishibe alongside Tonio Trussardi attempt to illegally poach abalones, only to fall victim to an ancient trap.
Issey Takahashi (Whisper of the Heart) will once again reprise his role as Rohan Kishibe with Marie Iitoyo (Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger) also reprising her role as Rohan's editor, Kyoka Izumi. Joining the episode's cast are: Alfredo Chiarenza as Italian chef Tonio Trussardi, and Misako Renbutsu (Fullmetal Alchemist) as Tonio's fiancé, Hatsune Morishima.
Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan "Poaching Seashore" is set to premiere this May 5th on BS Premium 4K, and on May 10th on NHK General.
