The original manga follows a fabled genius at killing who was taught since childhood to obey the orders of his boss. He is ordered to live in Osaka as a normal person for one year in order for the boss to lay low.
Directed by Kan Eguchi with scripts written by Yusuke Watanabe (20th Century Boys, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods), The Fable is set for a 2019 release.
