Live-Action My Little Monster Film's First Teaser Trailer, More Cast Members Revealed

The official live-action My Little Monster film website has unveiled the film's first teaser trailer as well as the film's additional cast.

The upcoming film stars Masaki Suda (Kamen Rider W, Death Note: Light Up the New World) as Haru Yoshida, an impulsive short tempered brute, who scares everyone with his explosive bursts of violence. He was suspended on the first day of school because of fighting bullies harassing a student.

Tao Tsuchiya (Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial, Rurouni Kenshin Kyoto Inferno) on the other hand as Shizuku Mizutani, a self-absorbed overachiever who is only concerned in maintaining the highest grades in school. She was tasked to deliver the then suspended Haru school materials and Haru interprets it as an act of friendship and starts latching onto her, beginning their rather strange relationship.

Additional cast members include:

• Yuki Furukawa (Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo) as Yuzan Yoshida, Haru's big brother
  
• Yuki Yamada (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger) as Kenji "Yamaken" Yamaguchi, Haru's old friend and current rival
  
• Elaiza Ikeda (Bow Then Kiss) as Asako Natsume, a pretty girl who despises boys
  
• Minami Hamabe (Live-Action Anohana drama special) as Chizuru Oshima
  
• Gaku Sano (Kamen Rider Gaim) as Sōhei "Sasayan" Sasahara, Haru and Shizuku's classmate and a baseball team member
  
• Mokomichi Hayami (Zettai Kareshi) as Mitsuyoshi "Micchan" Misawa, Haru's cousin
  

The live-action My Little Monster is directed by Sho Tsukikawa (live-action Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai, Kimi no Suizō o Tabetai) and is set for an April 27, 2018 release.
