Live-Action Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai TV Drama Special Announced

A 2-episode live-action TV drama special based on the Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai manga was announced.

The upcoming 2-episode special will feature the same cast coming from the upcoming film adaptation of the said manga. The cast of both the drama special and film are as follows:

• Kento Nakajima (live-action Silver Spoon) as Haruto Kurosaki
• Nana Komatsu (live-action Bakuman.) as Yu Akabane
• Yudai Chiba (Goseiger, Ouran High School Host Club) as Takumi Shirakawa
• Yuta Kishi (live-action Kin Kyori Renai) as Yusuke Kaji
• Sara Takatsuki (When Marnie Was There) as Meiko Ashigawa

The original manga is about freshman high school student Yu Akabane (Komatsu) who set her eyes on the "White Prince" Takumi Shirakawa (Chiba), but she crosses the "Black Demon" Haruto Kurosaki (Nakajima) as he steals away her first kiss, and devises a punishment for her where she has to do anything he says.

The upcoming drama special is directed by Hayato Kawai (live-action Suzuki Sensei) with scripts by Yuko Matsuda (live-action Gokusen) who also wrote the film's script. The upcoming drama special is set to air on Nippon TV on December 22 and 23. 

As for the upcoming film, it is directed by Sho Tsukikawa (live-action Tonari no Seki-kun to Rumi-chan no Jishō) and is set to premiere on February 2 in Japan.
