The official Live-Action Does the Flower Blossom? film's Twitter account announced the cast of the upcoming film.
The film stars Kosei Amano (Kamen Rider Blade) as Kazuaki Sakurai while Tsurugi Watanabe (Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger) as Yoichi Minagawa.
In the film, a single, overworked, 38-year-old salaryman Sakurai is attracted to Minagawa, a young college student. It all started after an incident that involves Minagawa accidentally destroying his magazine, leading to him giving a replacement copy of it. Even though Sakurai finds this kid rude and arrogant, for some reason, he soon finds himself frequently visiting his household...
Directed by Kaori Tanimoto with scripts written by Natsuko Takahashi, Does the Flower Blossom? is set for a February 24, 2018 release.
