Deadline reported that popular Cowboy Bebop anime series will get a live-action TV series adaptation by Tomorrow Studios (Good Behavior, Snowpiercer) in patnership with Sunrise Inc. (Gundam), the company behind the original anime.
Midnight Radio will also executive produce the series alongside Tomorrow Studios' Marty Adelstein (Prison Break), Becky Clements (Aquarius), and Matthew Weinberg. Veteran comic book writer Chris Yost (X-23, Thor: Ragnarok) will write the adaptation.
The original Cowboy Bebop anime series follows Spike Spiegel and his crew of bounty hunters as they capture the galaxy's worst criminals and survive unexpected dangers, sometimes save the world, while trying to maintain their sanity and their past haunting them in the present.
