Additional cast members of the live-action Ajin film was revealed by the film's staff. The upcoming film will star Takeru Satoh (Kamen Rider Den-O, Rurouni Kenshin) as Kei Nagai, the film's protagonist and a medical intern.

The film is directed by Katsuyuki Motohiro (Psycho-Pass) and will feature the action filming team of the live-action Rurouni Kenshin films working on the said project. Satoh, a fan of the source material said that he read the manga two years ago and wanted to make it into a film. Ajin is set for a September 30 release.
