The official Blood-Club Dolls website, the live-action Blood-C film project announced the live-action sequel, Blood-Club Dolls 2. The cast and staff was also announced as well.
Joining the film's cast are Takumi Kizu (Uchu Sentai Kyuranger) and Narushi Ikeda (Kamen Rider Wizard). Returning in the sequel are: Ryunosuke Matsumura (Kamen Rider Zero-One), Ryo Kitazono (Nanbaka), Kanon Miyahara (Kamen Rider Amazons), Maon Kurosaki, Norito Yashima (Gamera 3: The Revenge of Iris), Aki Asakura (Midnight Diner 2), Ren Yagami (Triple Complex), Shota Takasaki (Fujimi Orchestra), Yuki Tomotsune (GTO 2012), Yuuya Asato (Kuroko's Basketball: OVER-DRIVE), Ryosei Tanaka (Prince of Tennis Musicals), Naoya Gomoto (Eyeshield 21), Judai Shirakashi (Hyper Projection Engeki "Haikyuu!!"), Keisuke Minami (Uchu Sentai Kyuranger), and Takuya Kawaharada (Yowamushi Pedal Stage). That said, both Kizu and Minami previously worked on Uchu Sentai Kyuranger as Lucky/Shishi Red and Tsurugi Ohtori/Houou Soldier respectively.
Shutaro Oku (Persona 4 stage play) returns to direct the sequel and he will co-write it with Junichi Fujisaku, who previously wrote the script of the first film. The film is produced by Sennosuke Okumura (Blood-Club Dolls) and Akinaga Fujii (Blood-Club Dolls) will serve as the director of photography. Blood-Club Dolls 2 is set for a summer 2020 release.
