Toei's official Mashin Sentai Kiramager website has posted the update about the current condition of one of its stars, Rio Komiya, who plays Juru Atsuta/Kiramai Red.
As previously reported, the actor was confirmed positive for COVID-19 and the production for the series was put on hold and that the episodes that they filmed will cover up until the middle of May. In the Production Note section for the show's upcoming 6th episode, it is revealed that the actor is currently recovering and the staff and cast are now waiting for his return.
More details about Toei's actions about Komiya's case was also revealed. It is confirmed that people who have prolonged contact with the actor are on standby at home and under medical observation for at least 14 days since their most recent meeting with the actor. In addition, all areas Komiya had entered underwent disinfection and that the studio's canteen area is closed. Lastly, body temperature is being measured at both the entrance and exit of the studio.
