Toei's official Kamen Rider Zi-O Twitter account announced the opening theme song for the upcoming series.
The theme song titled "Over Quartzer" will be performed by AAA's Shuta Sueyoshi and DA PUMP's ISSA in a special unit for the series named Shuta Sueyoshi feat. ISSA. The two previously performed themes for the Kamen Rider franchise, with AAA previously performing Kamen Rider Den-O's opening theme "Climax Jump", while ISSA previously performing Kamen Rider 555's opening theme Justiφ's".
The song is described as a "beautiful harmony" that adds color to the world of Kamen Rider Zi-O. Sueyoshi is pleased in performing another Kamen Rider theme after 11 years and is honored to be the artist behind the final theme song of the Heisei Kamen Rider Era. ISSA on the other hand, is honored in performing the theme song as well. He also thinks that this is a song that every member of the family will enjoy it.
Kamen Rider Zi-O is set to premiere on September 2nd, replacing Kamen Rider Build in TV-Asahi's Super Hero Time block.
