It was announced at the opening day stage greeting for the Super Battle Junretsuger: No More Reheating film last September 1st that actor Hiroaki Iwanaga (Kamen Rider OOO's Akira Date/Kamen Rider Birth) will join the Junretsu idol group.
Iwanaga will replace member Ryohei Odai (Kamen Rider Ryuki's Shuichi Kitaoka/Kamen Rider Zolda), who will graduate from the group at the end of the year. This isn't the first time Iwanaga was involved with Junretsu as he appeared in the first Junretsuger film, Super Battle Junretsuger as the villain Zauna. Being a new member of the group, Iwanaga stated that he will do his best to catch up with the group's various songs and dance.
Junretsu is an idol group whose primary target audience are older females and holds regular performances at public bath houses nationwide, giving them the monicker bath house idols. Aside from Odai, other members of the group include: Yujiro Shirakawa (Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger's Ikkou Kasumi/Kuwaga Raiger), Shota Gokami, and Kazuyoshi Sakai (Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger's Sotaro Ushigome/Gao Black), and all of these men less Gokami once played a superhero.
