Premium Bandai has unveiled the official images and more information of the Complete Selection Modification Birth Driver & X Unit from the Kamen Rider OOO series.
The Birth Driver is Kamen Rider Birth's transformation device that uses Cell Medals instead of Core Medals. This release allows you to switch between the Birth Driver used by Akira Date (played by Hiroaki Iwanaga) and Shintaro Goto (played by Asaya Kimijima). To transform, insert the Cell Medal to the Birth Driver then twist the knob to become Kamen Rider Birth! You can also transform into Kamen Rider Birth Prototype by selecting said mode.
In addition, the new sound effect button allows the user to select the CLAWs armament before transformation and to activate it, insert another Cell Medal after selecting the armament, twist the knob to use said armament. Other sound effects include the ones inside the helmet and transformation release sound. The set comes with 3 Cell Medals.

Next is the X Unit, which you attach to the CSM Birth Driver, transforming it into the Birth Driver X! Once it is set, Kamen Rider Birth can now use the included Ebi (Shrimp), Kani (Crab), and Sasori (Scorpion) Core Medals, and twist the knob to transform into Kamen Rider Birth X! In addition, thanks to the X Unit, the Birth Driver can now scan various CSM Core Medals released as part of the CSM OOO Driver ver.10th (sold separately)! But that's not all, removing the Core Medal and reinserting it to the X Unit and twisting the knob will activate a special move!
