Toei Video posted the official trailer and new details for the upcoming Kamen Rider Geats VCinext sequel, now officially titled Kamen Rider Geats: Jyamato Awakening.
The film's official theme song is revealed, and is titled "Dangerously" by Kumi Koda. In addition, the film's plot is also revealed.
Taking place after the events of the TV series and the summer movie, it's been a while since Ace became a "god" watching over the world. This changes when a single bullet tears apart this peaceful life, and a mutant Jyamato appears. The appearance of this Jyamato is the cause of mankind's extinction. The destroyer of mankind, the God Jyamato is about to be born.
A white Ace also appears and transforms into a shining, golden Geats, but he attacks Tycoon, Na-Go, and the others! In front of the perplexed group, another Ace appears. Meanwhile, Beroba stands before Michinaga, and thanks to her, the Jyamato power that's been dormant in his body was awakened. What is this ominous looking Buffa? Also, why are there two Aces? As the birth of the destroyer of mankind draws nears, are the Kamen Riders determined to protect this world and mankind?
Written by series head writer Yuya Takahashi, and directed by Koichi Sakamoto (Kamen Rider Fourze), the film is set for a limited theatrical run in March 8, 2024, and will be available via Blu-ray and DVD in July 24, 2024.
