Actress Mone Kamishiraishi's (Your name, An Incurable Case of Love) latest series, Oh! My Boss! Love is a Bonus Book just premiered this week, but what's interesting is with its recent casting of its support cast.
Atsuhiro Inukai (Kamen Rider Build) was announced to play Kenya Hioki, the best friend of Mone's character, Nami Suzuki, but what's surpring is the casting of Kenya's fiancée. The fiancée is played by Hiroe Igeta (Kamen Rider Zero-One), a casting announcement that wasn't revealed until the first episode aired. What makes this casting interesting is that both actors played Kamen Riders as Inukai played Sento Kiryu/Kamen Rider Build, while Igeta played Yua Yaiba/Kamen Rider Valkyrie.
Oh! My Boss! Love is a Bonus Book follows Nami, a girl born and raised in a rural town, who follows her childhood friend and unrequited love Kenya to Tokyo and applies for a job in a sypply management department of a large publishing company. Nami gets hired by said company, but is assigned to work in the editorial department of a fashion magazine. There she works under chief editor Reiko Horai, a devil like boss with a cold personality. She treats Nami, who doesn't take her job seriously, in a callous manner. But as Nami watches her boss work, she begins to change her attitude toward her work.
Oh! My Boss! Love Is A Bonus Book is airing every Tuesday on TBS at 10pm JST.
