Deadline reported that the final film of Power Rangers star Jason David Frank, Legend of the White Dragon will get a theatrical fall release in North America.
Falling Forward Films will release said film exclusively in theaters across the top 25 markets. Said fall release will also coincide with what would have been the actor's 50th birthday, who passed away due to suicide back in November 2022.
The upcoming film follows Erik Reed/White Dragon (played by Jason David Frank) who after becoming a fugitive on the run for three years, has returned to the city he fought to protect. He must now clear his name and save the family he keeps in secret before the mysterious Jai/Dragon Prime (played by Aaron Schoenke) unleashes his own revenge.
The film is directed by Aaron Schoenke and Sean Schoenke from Bat in the Sun (Super Power Beat Down) with Frank also serving as producer alongside Chris Jay as executive producer. Also part of the film's cast are: Mark Dacascos (John Wick), King Bach (The Babysitter), Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs), David Ramsey (Supergirl), Jason Faunt (Power Rangers Time Force), Rachele Brooke Smith (Bring It On: Fight to the Finish), Ciara Hanna (Power Rangers Megaforce), Kevin Porter (Super Power Beat Down), Mayling Ng (The Suicide Squad), Cerina Vincent (Power Rangers Lost Galaxy), and Frank's daughter, Jenna Rae Frank.
