Talent agency Johnny's & Associates announced that idol group V6 will disband on November 1st.
In addition, member Go Morita will also leave the talent agency on that same day as well. Morita stated that the reason why he will leave Johnny's is to challenge himself as an actor away from the agency. Other members, namely: Masayuki Sakamoto, Hiroshi Nagano, Yoshihiko Inohara, Ken Miyake, and Junichi Okada will still be under Johnny's, but as individuals.
The six-member group made their debut on November 1, 1995, and is best known to most anime fans as the artist behind Inuyasha's first opening theme, "Change the World" and One Piece's 21st opening theme, "Super Powers". The group is also known for performing the live-action Gokusen series' theme song, "Feel the breeze" and Ultraman Tiga's opening theme, "Take Me Higher", with Nagano playing the role of the show's lead, Daigo Madoka/Ultraman Tiga.
