The official Gundam portal site, Gundam.Info has revealed the title of the 2nd Gundam Reconguista in G compilation film.
Titled "Gundam Reconguista in G the Movie II: Bellri Advances", the film is the second of the planned 5 compilation films based on the series. The first film, Gundam Reconguista in G the Movie: Go! Core Fighter premiered last November 29 was screened in 22 theaters for two weeks and ranked #1 in the mini-theater rankings.
Gundam: Reconguista in G is Yoshiyuki Tomino's first new Gundam project since Turn A Gundam. The series takes place in Regild Century 1014, which is 1,014 years after the end of the Correct Century (Turn A's timeline), and ages after the Universal Century timeline. The series follows the adventures of Bellri Zenam, a pilot trainee in the Capitan Guard, an organization protecting a space elevator. He's chosen by the G-Self, a highly maneuverable Mobile Suit of unknown origin, which can be operated by a select few.
Gundam Reconguista in G the Movie II: Bellri Advances is set to premiere on February 21, 2020 and like the first film, will have a limited theatrical run for two weeks. In addition, the second film will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on March 27th.
