Masaya Obi, best known to most fans as Naoto Sho from the original Gridman: The Hyper Agent TV series recently had his restaurant bombarded with prank calls, likely due to the popularity of the SSSS.Gridman anime series.
The former actor has been interacting with fans since the anime's debut, but was it seems like it has become more popular than he had hoped. His restaurant has been receiving prank calls anywhere from 50-100 calls a day, even though Obi had the phone numbers of his establishment private and him not promoting his restaurant on Twiter.
This was the second time he had to tell fans to stop calling and even explained to fans that these prank calls are obstructing his business and prevents actual customers from making reservations. If this continues, Obi stated that he has no choice but to close the shop. He also explains that banning the fans from the restaurant and closing the restaurant would be simple, but he doesn't want to resort to that. He concludes that he'll take a brief vacation, and should conditions not improve, he will delete his Twitter account.
As of this writing, it seems like the actor already deleted his Twitter account. It is unknown if he has closed his restaurant.
