IDW announced that the Godzilla vs. The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic will get a sequel titled Godzilla vs. The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers II!
Like the first crossover, Cullen Bunn (Magneto, Sinestro) returns to write the sequel. The sequel will feature art by Baldemar Rivas (DC: Mech), colors by Andrew Dalhouse, and letters by Johanna Guzman. In addition, the plot for the sequel was also revealed.
Rita Repulsa returns, but this time, she has new monsters, namely: SpaceGodzilla, Clawhammer, and Tentacreep! But what exactly does Rita intend to do with their collective might, and how have her mysterious new allies, Astronema, and the Alliance of Evil, given her added reach across worlds? The Power Rangers are on a mission to find out, but first, all roads lead back to Godzilla!
This five-issue mini series will the first issue having multiple covers. The "A" cover is made by by Freddie Williams II (Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle) and colorist Andy Dalhouse; the "B" cover by Alex Sanchez (Katana) and colorist Matt Helms; and a retailer incentive cover by Hendry Prasetya (Kamen Rider Zero-One) and Dalhouse. The first issue is set for an April 3, 2024 release.
