The staff of the live-action Tokyo Ghoul film finally gives us our first look at actress Fumika Shimizu (Kamen Rider Fourze, Hentai Kamen) as Touka Kirishima.
The film stars Masataka Kubota (Death Note JDrama, Mars) as Ken Kaneki, Yuu Aoi (Rurouni Kenshin) as Rize Kamishiro, EXILE's Nobuyuki Suzuki as Kotaro Amon, and Yo Oizumi (Professor Layton) as Kureo Mado.
The film is based on Sui Ishida's manga of the same name takes place in a world were Ghouls exist. Creatures who look like normal people except they crave for human flesh. Ken Kaneki becomes a half-human half-Ghoul hybrid after his date almost killed him and was able to survive because doctors implated his body with Ghoul body parts.
The film is directed by Kentaro Hagiwara ("Super Star" short) and is set to open in summer 2017.
