Square Enix announced that the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster are finally coming to the PS4 and Nintendo Switch!
As its name suggest, its a pixel remaster of the first six Final Fantasy games that were originally released for the NES and SNES, namely: Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy VI. These games will be available digitally in spring 2023, and can be purchased together as a bundle or individually.
As for physical release, there will be two versions, standard and FF35 Anniversary Edition, both of which are available exclusively from the Square Enix Store. The standard edition will have a small run, while the FF35 Anniversary Edition comes with the following extras aside from the physical copy of the game for either the PS4 or Switch. These extras are:

- Anniversary Edition GOODS BOX.
- A bonus lenticular sleeve for the game package.
- 2-disc vinyl record set featuring newly arranged game music with exclusive cover artwork by Kazuko Shibuya
- A specially compiled artbook showcasing beautiful character pixel art.
- Eight stylized pixel art character figures in window packaging.
Like the digital release, the physical release are available in spring 2023.
