The official Toei Animation YouTube channel posted a new trailer for the upcoming Dragon Ball Daima anime, which highlights Son Goku.
Released to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the franchise, because of a conspiracy, Goku and his friends turn small. In order to fix things, they'll head off to a new world! It's a grand adventure with intense action in an unknown and mysterious world. Because of his current size, Goku will once again use his iconic weapon, the Nyoibo (Power Pole) to fight bad guys!
Yoshitaka Yashima (Dragon Ball Super) and Aya Komaki (One Piece) will serve as the series directors, with Yuuko Kakihara (Digimon Adventure tri., Cells at Work!) supervising and writing the series scripts. In addition, Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru (Dragon Ball Z) is adapting Akira Toriyama's character designs for the anime. Lastly, as previously reported, series creator Akira Toriyama is heavily involved with the project as he is credited for the anime's story and character designs.
Dragon Ball Daima is set to premiere this fall 2024.
