You see here's the thing, those two crossovers, though they were fun to watch felt like they were added at the last moment during the show's production. Like all on-going storylines were put into a halt just for the sake of the crossover. Heck, I even skipped the last crossover special simply because it didn't move forward Kamen Rider Drive and Shuriken Sentai Ninninger's overall storylines! It was there to promote the Kamen Rider #3 movie, which by the way, I haven't watched yet at the time of this review.
Even though Kamen Rider Ghost can easily defeat that Shocker member, the episode showed us that it can still go toe-to-toe with the Zyuohgers. What's more is that not only Ghost showed off his skills, the Zyuohgers themselves was able to show off in this episode's crossover segment. As expected, the Shocker member was defeated, and surprisingly, Genis was amused that he decided to give this guy a Continue. So yeah, we got a giant Shocker member vs. Zyuoh Wild. Interesting enough, this is the first time we see the 6-2-3 configuration of this mecha. Well that's quite a surprise.
Since I am done talking about the crossover stuff, let's talk about the plot of this episode, it's all about Amu and Tusk not happy that she's dodging her responsibilities. Amu and Tusk's relationship is a great contrast to Sela and Leo's relationship. It just balances the team with Yamato being the straight man to these four guys. I just love that Tusk is the responsible one while Amu is the slacker; the lazy one who claims that she will do a bad job in cleaning the house. So yeah, Tusk ends up doing the house work while Amu begins her shopping. Thankfully, she stops shopping thanks to a Dethgalien.
To give you an idea on how those work, a monster appears, a member gets mind controlled and attacks his teammates. It gets resolved by trying to wake him out of that state or defeating the monster that caused it. They usually take the first option. In the case of this episode, Amu was turned into a liquid by Kubar thanks to his syringe and injects him in one of the Moeba. This is an interesting twist in a sense that Amu is not anymore Amu, but a zyuman-Moeba hybrid. It gives this sense that there's a less than 50% chance that Amu will snap out of this state. It didn't help that the other 3 Zyuohgers are busy with their Ghost team-up.
The fight ends with Tusk bending in his knees and tells her that he has something to say, but before he can say it, Tusk seemingly dies from Amu's attack. The rest of the Zyuohgers didn't arrive on time to help Amu snap back to her former self. With no hope in bring her back; it seems that Kubar gets the last laugh until Amu shoots him with her blaster! Turns out that it was all a ruse thanks to Tusk snapping her back just in time before Amu can kill her. That being said, I love that they surprised us with this twist instead of outright doing it around the time Tusk is about to die. It adds this tension that maybe this story arc will be resolved in the next episode, but nope, it was resolved in one episode. Seriously, this evil Amu plot can run for at least two episodes given on how they set up Tusk's death.
The episode ends and we finally learn what Tusk wanted to say to Amu. To be honest, I was expecting a love confession or something close it, but nope, it's just Tusk giving Amu an earful because she's one irresponsible tiger. It was hilarious and the fact that Tusk made Amu shut her mouth is a nice way to tie this episode with a perfect ending. The episode ended the same way it all started, instead of Amu telling Tusk the reasons why she should not do housework; we got the opposite with Tusk on why Amu should do housework. It's a perfect way to end a good episode.
