It was announced at this week's Nintendo Direct that the Doraemon franchise will collaborate with the popular Story of Seasons/Bokujo Monogatari (previously known as Harvest Moon) franchise in one game!
Titled "Doraemon: Nobita's Story of Seasons", the game will be developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment and Marvelous. The upcoming game will take place in Shizen Town, a place notable for its gigantic tree and will feature the theme of "bonds". You will of course, interact with various characters from the Doraemon series.
Elements from the Story of Seasons franchise will be present in the game, such as building and upgrading a farm, choosing what crops to plant, and forming relationships with NPCs. Since this is a collaboration with the Doraemon franchise, players can use some of Doraemon's gadgets in the game.
Doraemon: Nobita's Story of Seasons is set for a release this year in Japan only for the Nintendo Switch. It is unknown if the game will get an English-language release.
