The official Macross website and its social media accounts announced that almost all entries of said anime franchise will be streaming worldwide only on Disney+ this year.
By almost all, the first two entries of the franchise, namely Super Dimension Fortress Macross and the film, Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? are only listed for limited distribution inside Japan, most likely due to rights issues. In addition, Macross F character designer Risa Ebata illustrated a special poster to commemorate said news.
