Toei Animation has unveiled the new character designs for the Chosen Children/DigiDestined for the upcoming Digmon Adventure the Movie at this year's Jump Festa event.
The new character designs seen from left-to-right are: Joe Kido, Mimi Tachikawa, Koushiro "Izzy" Izumi, Yamato "Matt" Ishida, Taichi "Tai" Kamiya, Sora Takenouchi, Takeru "TK" Takaishi, and Hikari "Kari" Kamiya as young adults.
The new film project is part of the Digimon franchise's overall 20th anniversary. It is unknown if the cast from Digimon Adventure tri. will reprise their roles in the new film.
Toei Animation will once again work on the project with Digimon Adventure series producer Hiromi Seki serving as the project's supervisor. Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru will once again work as the project's character designer and Kenji Watanabe as the project's monster designer. Details for the new anime's release date are yet to be announced.
