To promote the Japanese release of the Hellboy reboot film, Go Nagai's Dynamic Planning released a crossover image featuring Devilman and Hellboy.
In the art, we see both devil heroes staring down at their opponents, Sirene and Nimue the Blood Queen. In addition, Hellboy creator Mike Mignola also drew a crossover image featuring the same two characters to commemorate the film's Japanese release. Both pieces of art will be on display at the Go Nagai Memorial Hall in Wajima City in Ishikawa Prefecture. There are plans to release novelty goods and other merchandise as part of the campaign.
Lastly, Go Nagai also watched the said Hellboy film and described it as "dark" and appreciated the character's depiction as both gloomy and comedic. Nagai said, "[He] runs through the strange world of witches and monsters. A thrilling dark fantasy movie is born!!" Hellboy is set for a September 27th release in Japan.
