The 49th issue of this year's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine revealed that the Detective Conan anime series has 20 projects to commemorate the anime's 20th anniversary.
The project titled "20 Bullets" is composed of 20 different projects. That being said, the magazine revealed the first 3 projects under it.
The first is a one hour two-part TV anime special, which will guest star famed kabuki actor Ichikawa Ebizō XI. This special will feature Conan and Ebizo competeting in a "detective recital contest". The special titled Detective Conan TV Anime Special Conan and Ebizo: Kabuki #18 Mystery will air on January 9, 2016 and January 16, 2016.
The second project is a real escape game happening at the OPA building in Osaka's Shinsaibashi district. the event, The Shinsaibashi Chocolate Murder Case will include 3 different games that players can experience. These games are: Police Legwork, Secret room Murder on-site Inspection, and Household Search of the Enemy Hideout. The event will start on December 12. In addition, a permanent Detective Conan store will also open at the same building on the same day.
Finally, the third part is the 20th anime film, which will open in spring 2016. The film's first official trailer will start streaming on November 4. As part of the film's promotion, black visual leaflets will be available in TOHO theaters starting on November 7 in Japan.
