The official Colorful Love - My Androgynous Boyfriend website posted the show's teaser trailer as well as announced two new cast members for the series.
Joining the show's cast are: Miki Mizuno (Carved, Gamera 2: Attack of Legion) as Asahi Tetsumoto, the editor-in-chief of the manga magazine that employs Wako; and Renn Kiriyama (Kamen Rider W) as Kira, Meguru's friend and is a famous model.
The upcoming series will star Ai Yoshikawa (12 Suicidal Teens) as Wako Machida and Rihito Itagaki (Kamen Rider Zi-O) as Meguru. In the series, Wako spends her days working hard in the world of publishing, while her boyfriend, Meguru spends his time obsessing over fashion and makeup with the goal of making himself beautiful just for her.
The series will be directed by Izuru Kumasaka, Hiroaki Yuasa, and Takeshi Matsuura, with scripts written by Fumi Tsubota, and music composed by Akihiro Manabe. Airing under the MokuDora F timeslot, the series is set to premiere on April 1st on NTV, YTV, and their affiliate networks.
