Mill Creek Entertainment has unveiled an exclusive Blu-ray collection called Birth of Ultraman, which will include select episodes of the series and an alternate, uncut English audio track!
This release contains 7 select episodes of the series and these episodes has two language options, the original Japanese audio and the uncut United Artists English dubs. English subtitle options for both audio tracks are also included: These episodes are:
But that's not all, this collection also includes The Birth of Ultraman, a special that aired in Japan back in July 10, 1966, which introduced the audience to the world of Ultraman before the series made its official premiere. This day is now celebrated annually and is now known as Ultraman Day. This was never released in America and is presented in its original black & white form in standard definition, with Japanese audio.
This collection features the art of artist Alex Ross (Marvels, Kingdom Come), and this same artwork is used as the cover of the first issue of The Rise of Ultraman comic book series. The Birth of Ultraman Collection cost US$25.99 and is set for a July 10th release. [ORDER NOW]
