Toei announced the Avataro Sentai Donbrothers vs. Zenkaiger film, and it takes place after the events of both shows!
Unlike most Super Sentai VS movies, this movie is divided into three acts, namely: Zenkaiger, Donbrothers, and VS. In the Zenkaiger side, the team returns to the candy café Colorful after their journey around the parallel world. However, there is a new Kashiwa Mochi World and Zocks becomes the Kashiwa Mochi King, and the ruler of Zenkaitopia?!
Meanwhile in the world of Donbrothers, it's been a year since Taro left and the five companions continue their fight as Donbrothers, with Jiro as their leader while leading fulfilling private lives. Taro regains his memories and visits Café Donbura, and the rest of the team congratulate his return, only to ask him to leave the Donbrothers. After deciding to walk their respective paths, Kikaiki appears and attacks Taro! Lastly, due to an incident that broke out in the two worlds, they are now connected by the "edge" that transcends dimensions, thus a full throttle, miracle battle between the two Super Sentai begins!

Directed by Katsuya Watanabe (Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger VS Lupinranger VS Patranger), and written by Toshiki Inoue (Avataro Sentai Donbrothers) & Junko Komura (Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger), the film is set for a limited theatrical release this May 3rd at the Shinjuku Wald 9 and in other venues, and will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on September 27th. Lastly, special edition copies of the film's Blu-ray and DVD release will include the DX Donzenkai Blade & Victory Super Gear.
