It was announced that actress Yua Shinkawa (Shogeki Goraigan!!, GTO 2012) will star in the live-action series adaptation of Ai Okaue's Guilty manga.
Shinkawa will play the role of Sayaka Ogino, the show's main character. She is an editor at a women's fashion magazine and is married to Kazuma for six years. Kazuma looks like he is the perfect husband, but there's is one thing that bothers Sayaka about him, he doesn't want to have a baby. Somehow, Sayaka gets betrayed by the people she trust, she then meets her first love, Keiichi Akiyama from her high school days.
Directed by Yo Kawahara (Good Morning Call), with scripts written by Yoko Izumisawa (One Week Friends), Rieko Obayashi (Good Morning Call), and Kisa Miura (My Husband's Wives), the series is set for an April 2 premiere on Yomiuri TV and NTV.
